Sometimes we think people truly care about us because they say they do…But the question is ”Do they?.How far are they willing to go for us?How much do they appreciate our friendship? and do their actions show that they do??..If all these questions did not receive positive answers..then I am sorry but we’d have to think twice about this so called”I care about you” person.
Many times when we get into deep trouble and the day is just not going too well for us,we need someone that will always be there to understand us,someone who is willing to share in our sorrow instead of getting frustrated because they care about us only when we are”bubbly!” and therefore cannot handle this change in mood.
If they truly care about you, then why don’t they ever checkup on you when you are seriously ill?,why don’t they ever checkup on you when you are not able to make it to school the whole week? and why don’t they comfort you when you just failed with straight ”Fs”in all of your tests??-DO THEY REALLY CARE?
All these brings me straight up to the kind of care that is unmeasurable, uncomprehending and ENDLESS!!(Knows no BoundRIES!)……GOD’S CARE!!!Romans 8:39
Care comes hand in hand with Love..Obviously if someone loves you, they will automatically care about you!(Why tell me that you love me when you are not even able to give me the needed care?)
From the Bible,The story of the Samaritan lady who had 5 husbands,Jesus could have said”why are you here on the day i decide to pass by this well?you filthy unclean soul!Be cast out of my sight now!!…but guess what… he didn’t…instead,he asked for some water from her and forgave her of all her sins!(THIS IS LOVE AND CARE!)I can’t imagine any human showing this much care to anyone..Probably because we are so proud and so full of ourselves!
I’m convinced that each of us need someone to watch over us, someone who truly cares about us, someone who’d offer a shoulder to cry on in times of sorrow, & encouraging words when we need them most. We look to the Lord for help in life.
1- The Lord will keep us from slipping
2- The Lord will watch over us always Matthew 6:32-“For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need
Luke 10:34-35(great love and care from a total stranger!)
Isaiah 49:15–“Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.!
Psalms 118:9-It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in princes.
It is quite ironic how the people who truly care about us are being taken advantage of by us,we think that they care too much and should sometimes give us breathing space….but is this not the care we’ve always wanted??We soooooo do not know what we truly want in life and from people!
